We had an amazing stay on top of my visit.
Really enjoyed this traditional hotel: tasty food and competent and excellent staff. We had a large and unique room with bathtubs. The location was magnificent, not too far away from Patan Durbar Square. Everything was simply perfect👍

Location close enough to the square and the golden temple down the road and Kathmandu, Patan, which is a heritage and historical area. Food was lovely, staff was excellent. Particularly nice breakfast - 3 star level.

stayed at a beautiful guesthouse near Durbar Square in Kathmandu. The ambiance was amazing with stunning sculptures and traditional architecture. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even making delicious vegan food for breakfast. Would definitely stay again, truly a magical place.
Low ceilings made it a bit challenging for taller guests.

The location of Temple House in the heart of Patan was perfect for exploring the area, from the nearby events at Krishna temple to the restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel's ambiance, decorated with traditional wood carvings and statues, was truly stunning. The staff at Temple House was extremely accommodating, always ready to assist and provide helpful information. The breakfast offered was delicious and the nearby restaurant with a terrace overlooking the beautiful Durbar square had an unbeatable view. The rooms were fantastic and made us feel at home. During our stay, the hotel arranged tours with a reliable taxi driver, allowing us to discover hidden gems at unbeatable prices. our experience at Temple House was a 10/10 and we would definitely stay there again in the future.
While our stay at Temple House was nearly perfect, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room was not serviced unless requested, which meant the beds were not made and the room was not tidied up daily.

The location of the hotel is also great, nestled in a quiet side street near Patan Durbar Square. The rooms on the top floor are beautifully decorated in a traditional style, complete with a balcony. And last but not least, the breakfast provided was delicious and a perfect way to start the day.
No issues, everything was perfect!

Located in the heart of the historic area, it was a great base for exploring the city. The hotel is so close to the square, so you can do a lot on foot. The rooms are traditionally decorated but modern amenities are available including hot water in the en suite bathroom. The staff was so hospitable and friendly, and breakfast was lovely on the rooftop, overlooking the city.
The steps up to the hotel can be a bit steep and might be an issue for those who have mobility issues.

This hotel in Patan Durbar Square is a real hidden gem. The traditional style of the rooms on the fourth floor with a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and main street is absolutely charming. The attention to detail and the value for money is impressive. The staff here are incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location in a side street just a few steps away from the square is perfect for exploring the wonders of the area. The breakfast on the rooftop with views of the Patan skyline was a magical way to start the day.
Everything was absolutely fine.

the location was perfect - right in the heart of the city, with easy access to Krishna temple and other attractions. Secondly, the hotel's ambiance was truly enchanting, with traditional wood carvings and statues adorning every corner. It really added to the overall experience. And lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough. They were so attentive, polite, and always ready to assist with any request. They made me feel right at home.
No complaints at all - everything was perfect.

This small locally owned guesthouse was the perfect choice for my city trip. Its traditional Newari-style building and tastefully decorated room made me feel at home. The location is central, just a few steps away from the cultural heritage sites. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always checking if I needed anything during my stay. The welcoming fruit basket was a nice touch.
As much as I enjoyed the location, it also had its drawbacks. The noise level from the surroundings, like nearby shops and public areas, woke me up early in the morning and during the night, making it difficult to sleep.

During our recent stay at Temple House, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The traditional interior of the room created a cozy and homely ambiance. The staff was extremely kind, thoughtful, and always had a smile on their faces. The location of the hotel was perfect, with only a short walk to the Durbar Square and other attractions. The breakfast provided was not only delicious but also accommodated my vegan diet. The beautiful architecture and sculptures throughout the building added to the enchanting ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a magical stay in Kathmandu.
While the hotel had sound protection in the rooms, the noise from the busy street outside could still be heard during the day. Additionally, the windows in the room did not have glass, making it a bit chilly when opened.

We had a great city break with lots of exploring opportunities. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the complementary tea and coffee in the room, as well as the delicious breakfast. The hotel was situated in a convenient location, just a few steps away from the historical landmarks and bustling streets.
Our stay was not without its drawbacks. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room lacked adequate heating for the colder nights.
